That's a really good point. Thank you. Alot of people's weddings are going to be pushed back to next year aswell aren't they so I'm going to have to secure things sooner than I thought.

I’ve booked and planned my wedding in 4 months also on maternity leave. I second the advice above about the registrar. Once you have a date, see if the venue can hold it for you and confirm with the registrar ASAP.
It was handy being on mat leave as I was able to go do things during the day and not have to worry about booking time off work etc. I did all my my making of things in the evening when baby was in bed.

As others have said get your registrar booked as soon ASAP, then photographer, florist etc. Popular ones will get booked up quickly.
