Lapland UK

I thought it was closed down for being so unbelievably crap. Didn't it get loads of complaints and people were demanding their money back or am I thinking of something else?

I went to Lapland UK at Bedgebury Pinetum in 2007, and at the time I thought it was fab. In retrospect I decided it was a massive rip-off, and last year we spent the money on a party for 45 kids instead. It cost less, but bloody hell, it was a load more work ?

We went on Christmas Eve. Arm and a leg territory.

Lapland UK is based in Kent and legit, although as JK you have to pay for extras such as photos with Santa. According to a forum I go on, the tickets sold out by October last year so if you do decide to go ahead, book early.

It was New Forest Lapland that was in the news for being a sham. They promised a real nativity scene and when people arrived it was a piece of painted board stuck on a trailer. Then when the children wanted to see Santa he was having a fag and swearing into a mobile.

Thanks everyone. Yes its a different one, the rubbish one was in the new forest. I was going to book because its closer but thought I would wait until this year so I could see real photos.

Jk - I threw a party last year, it was hectic! I need to learn to delegate more! The kids had fun though
