Bruce Parry wore some sort of polar bear skin on TV the other night to keep warm.. Would that help?!

I would recommend a heavy, long sleeved dress.. Or a big cape like this one:

A friend of mine had a winter wedding, and the bridesmaids wore furry muffs as well.

I was looking at a site earlier called something like 'perditas shoes' or similar. They had a section for capes and boleros which I thought at the time would be perfect for a winter wedding.

As far as freezing your toes off goes, you could get a pair of fantastic bridal lace up heeled boots - have seen several sites that make bespoke or retail them.

Will have a look and see if I can find the sites I'm thinking of. Am vv jealous of your winter wedding, I would have loved one, if only OH would have let me!

I had a Bride who married in Lapland about 6 years ago but she wore a brown velvet cape with a hood and under her dress she had snowboots on. Here's a photo she sent me which is a bit fuzzy because everyone was shaking it was sooooooo cold!
