Well today was my final day at work before our wedding on Monday! OH and I both work in a large secondary school so we are off for two weeks now.
Our students are very excited about the wedding and have been talking about it nonstop for weeks- lots of them really couldn't understand why we didn't want them there lol!
They all said goodbye to me using my current surname for the last time and my name has already been changed on the system- eeeek!
Our colleagues were lovely and my department gave me some euros for us to have a lovely meal on honeymoon and some wedding day mugs for us to drink our tea out of on Monday morning. It really touched me. We also had quite a lot of cards, which I wasn't expecting at all. We are having a tiny wedding!
I have been quite stressed at work this week (not wedding related) so it was lovely to have such a positive reaction and leave on a high.
Can't believe when we are next at work OH and I will have the same name!! Am feeling really exited, can't wait now.
On the downside, heavy rain due for Monday so am considering a coat... Oh and OH isn't feeling well so he needs to shake it off pretty fast.... Eeeeek!
