    She is so head and shoulders above Andrew Motion, isn't she? Quite astounding. We are so lucky to have her. What an incredible poem. Emotion, distilled.

    What a wonderfully original take on the war poem !

    I can't stop thinking about how Allingham and Patch lived for so long then dies within days of each other. Mere coincidence I'm sure, but the less logical side of my brain says there must be some link.
