Has anyone today received an email purporting to be from Laura Ashley, about them starting up an ebay store, with a link to their ebay 'store'? I know some shops do have ebay outlets but I wouldn't have thought that LA would be the 'type' of store to open an ebay outlet, and the grammar and style of the email doesn't seem overly English to me.
I haven't gone in through the link in the email as I'm not sure about it - although the layout does seem very similar to emails that I have got that I know are from the 'real' store as they link straight to the website.
I tried searching for the user 'lauraashleyoffical' on the ebay community but no seller came up - also, on the little bit of page that has been shown, it says that the user has been registered since April last year, so why the email saying that it has just started up.
Seems very, very fishy to me - think I'll stick to the real thing!
