Hi, we have our legal preliminary meeting next week with the registrar to provide documents etc. Please can someone who has already had this tell me how long the appointment usually takes as we are trying to work out timings.
Thank you.

The whole thing took about 35-40 minutes for us, we went in together first of all and showed her paperwork then one of us left the room and she asked questions about the other- full name, date of birth, job - think that was it! Does feel a bit like a test. Our appointment was right in the middle of the day so my FH had to come out of work for it which was a pain but that was all they had! I had taken the day off as I have more flexibility. Good luck

The duration of a legal preliminary meeting can vary depending on the number of documents and the complexity of the case, but typically it lasts about 30 to 60 minutes. To prepare, ensure all required paperwork is organized and easily accessible. For cases involving detailed background checks or compliance, tools like a KY arrest lookup can assist in gathering necessary data efficiently. Best of luck with your meeting!
