    Hi ?

I do not think you will be able to hire a pure linen suit. I do not know of any places that do that. I hire a light coloured fawn suit :

I use this fabric in the hire because (although lightweight) it is more robust and creases less then linen.

However there are some really good deals on linen suits out there to buy at the moment. I have a blue 100% linen suit in stock for £220.00. I am sure there are similar prices (or cheaper) out there.

Linen is lovely to wear for casual and is very cool to wear. However it is naturally very creased.

    Thanks
    Marc

I don't think there are linen suits out there for hiring.

Linen gets easily creased and is not the best option for wedding suits.

You don't want a dishevelled looking groom on the Day.

Quite a few menswear shops have linen suits for sale in their summer '08 collection.

    All the best.?

    Hi Abc,

I am not trying to cause any friction but the last 2 times I have posted you have repeated what I have said.

(but in a rather more illiterate way) id="size1">

    Why?

    Thanks

    Hi!,
    ?

The beige suit is £70.00 to hire for the 2.piece. Waistcoats and ties are extra and vary depending on which ones. You will receive a discount for a group booking and a little extra as a Hitched discount.

    So about £59.00 per suit.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks
    Marc

Oh Yeah. I have sizes 34 to 50 chest available. They are available for the end of July but they would need to be booked fairly soon.

Thanks for the info Bespoked Tailor, your suits would be perfect. I was only thinking linen as he wants something lightweight. Is it made from mohair and wool, knowing nothing about fabrics I would of assumed wool would be warm.

Hope I can find something similar near me!

    Thanks
    Katie

Wool can be exceptionally lightweight. Very fine wools like super 100's and up are very fine and very light. Choose the right fabric for the right job. If you are travelling abroad, then you need light weight, you also need the fabric to not crease, a super 100's wool in 10 or 11 oz weight would be fine. If you are choosing a fabric purely on weight then a super 140's in 6 oz's would be perfect, but would crease.
Mohair is hard and springy and is used in smaller amounts than it used to be. Mohair is often chosen because of the reflective qualities. Mohair looks shiney inside and lighter outside. We tend to use kid mohair these days (it is finer and less coarse) mixed with fine wools.

If you need any advice feel free to mail me.
