Just seen this. I booked a sweetie cart with her and am currently trying to get my money back (either from her or my insurance). I just wondered if anyone had had any luck?

It's terrible leaving it until the morning of the wedding for the couples to find out. Not even the best wedding insurance would be able to resolve that situation. I hope no one else got let down on here, makes me feel sick what would happen if the caterers or anyone did this to my wedding!

Not sure if there are any other brides or grooms who used this company on hitched, I had booked a sweetie cart and was let down (did manage to get another one booked last minute luckily) and have just got a cheque through the post from my insurance company refunding me luckily I had only spent a small amount in comparison to some other brides, but hopefully others have managed to get their money back, either from ALBOB or from insurance.

Hi, would you mind telling us which insurance company that was? Always good to know companies that don't give us headaches when we need them!

I have almost booked bit of bling, but favored a local company instead. Lucky escape!

Always sad to hear these stories though, such disappointment. What I don't understand is why didn't she reimbursed everyone and was honest about the bankruptcy? It is sad about her illness, but that surely doesn't stop someone being correct in their ways?

Hopefully all affected will get reimbursement.
