Hi everyone!
I was hoping some of you would be able to help me please?
My partner and I have just booked a small wedding of 22 people for us and our immediate family next year in July at The Old Marylebone town hall. We’re stuck on finding a nice venue for the reception, food and drink. We sort of want a restaurant/venue that’s close to the centre of London with a nice view and is suitable for children too. Maybe we could hire a private part of the restaurant or something but we’re finding it hard to find somewhere that we just love. We would love to hear your recommendations or if you’ve had a wedding like this any advice and suggestions etc. Thanks so so much & lots of love, Alice xx

Hi Alice,

There are so many great restaurants around Marylebone! If you want views, however, there aren’t many high buildings in Marylebone, except that the Treehouse Hotel has good views and a great rooftop area (ignore the outside of the building - it used to be offices). Otherwise places around the new(ish) development behind Kings Cross have some great views over the canal (eg the Lighterman has big glass windows). For views onto the river you’d have to travel slightly further from Marylebone eg. Sea Containers or OXO Tower on the south bank, opposite Blackfriars. Or Skylon has great river views too. They should all have private dining areas/options.
There are tonnes of options; it’s just a question of price point and travel time I guess.

Heya! We have booked the Hoxton hotel in Southwark for after our ceremony at MTH. Have a look at them, you get a private space and fair pricing! X

Since your wedding is long overdue, you probably don't need it anymore, but I can recommend a great place. However, it's not in London. There`s a wonderful restaurant in Füssen, where we celebrated my husband's birthday.
