Long distance bridesmaid proposal?

I live in Newcastle and ironically, I have a close friend who lives not so close in Leeds! We don’t get to see eachother a lot, maybe once a year, but it’s always as if we’d only seen eachother the day before when we do meet.
Anyway, we are always in touch via phone & socials etc.. and I would really like her to be a bridesmaid because she has always been a true friend to me regardless of the distance..
Does anyone know of any creative ways to ask her? One of my options would be to simply go down to visit & ask her, but finding the time at the moment with juggling university, work and general life is difficult!
