Thanks Wonky, i have been looking at some of the lodges, trouble is we really need a private enclosed garden so our doggy can run around safely.

Anyone else got any recommendations?

Here's a really nice one I have found. Not sure on the enclosed garden but if you look at it on google maps in ariel view there is a lot of space for the dog to run around. We're thinking of going there a minimoon too next year and taking the dog. It doesnt have a hot tub but a big roll top bath. very romantic cottage next to the lake and secluded. On the same website there are others right on the beach but they are alot more expensive - however perfect for a dog to run on!

Where in the UK are you looking at?

You could try http://friendly-places.com/ which has a 'dog friendly' section, and there may be something that comes up there with a hot tub? Unfortunately I'm strapped for time at the moment and can't search fully but the custom search function with 'hot tub dog' might work?
