    I would take it straight back to the shop you bought it from and demand that they replace it for free. You've only been married for a few months.

    It is covered on the home insurance but I also have diamond cover with H Samuel where we bought it. Going to pop into them at lunch to see what they can do. I feel like crying over a tiny stone! [laugh}

    It's not a tiny stone, it's part of your wedding ring! Completely understandable that you'd be upset. Hope they sort it quickly for you.

    One of the diamonds fell out of my engagement ring about 6 weeks after having it.

    Took it back to the shop and got it fixed. They didn't charge - although OH wouldn't have paid it if they'd tried to charge us anyway.

    I had that cover with an earnest jones ring and I think they are the same firm-they actually swapped my ring for a new one rather than replace the stone. Try no to look at it too much til it is fixed! Good luck!
