Lovelinks Bracelets

CeliaWelia, 24 November, 2008 at 12:26 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 16

Hi all

Don't post very often but am just after a little information and thought you might be able to help!

Have just discovered Lovelinks on the internet and am really liking the idea of my H getting me a bracelet for Christmas.

Does anyone have one? How many links can you fit on a bracelet? If anyone has one, I'd love to see a picture if possible to give me an idea where to start. Also, where is the best place to buy them?

Thanks in advance!

I've got one.. the number of links you can fit on depends on how long the bracelet is , mine is 21cm but they start at 16cm and go up to 24cm so its best to go along to a stockists and try on a few different bracelets .

Mine has 16 links at the moment and can probably fit another 4, i have a combination of murano glass and silver links.

Most of mine have come from a local jeweller though i have got some from ebay.

Have you looked at Troll Beads too ?

I think they have a greater variety than lovelinks

My mum has a necklace and I've bought her a set of 6 to add to it for Christmas. There is a lovelinks website and there is also a make called Pandora which fit the lovelinks. There's also a similar version called Truth I think but they don't fit either Lovelinks or Pandora so if you want a bit more variety I'd go for the Lovelinks and maybe a few Pandora ones if you like those. I think they start at about £6 per "bead" with the average coloured ones being about £10-£11 and there are special ones that are silver and gold plated that can cost about £30.

I think they're really nice and it makes buying presents a lot easier ?

Having a good Monday there then? A bit harsh I think

ETA, waahh, there actually IS a company called Troll beads. Sorry, I thought you were taking the piss. I shall scurry back to my hole now.

I know I can sometimes be a bit grumpy, but I'm quite offended anyone would think I'd take the piss out of somebody just for asking about a bracelet.

    Apology accepted (just).

Sorry, again. it was just that they were called troll beads and it seemed an unlikely name for a company (to me, obviously not to other people)

I did think it was unusually grumpy for you. Clearly me having the bad day.

I'm getting a Pandora bracelet for my birthday which is similar to Lovelinks.

There are quite a few examples online if you google either Pandora, trollbeads or Biagi beads. I can't tell you exactely what i'm getting as my H has chosen the charms.....

Some bracelets fit other brand charms so it's worth looking around at all of them. I *think* lovelink charms fit Pandora bracelets but Trollbeads don't and Pandora charms don't fit lovelinks etc... Its worth having a look around to see which you prefer and what gives you most choice.

    I hope I haven't confused you!

Thanks so much for all of your replies - I am totally confused but getting there!! I will have a good look round and see which of the ones you've suggested I like best. Then I'll probably leave post-it notes all round the house hinting that that's what i would like!

(By the way, the whole Troll beads mix up made me laugh!)

I've got one and my 3 daughters have one each. I love them

Honey got one for her birthday and everyone got her links that were important to them, she is only one and it is something for her to keep

My step daughter has one and when her Pony called mouse died, i bought her a mouse to put on her bracelet s her mouse could always be with her

they are ace but be careful not to get petite lovelinks charms they only fit the petite bracelets not the normal ones

Last Christmas I bought Pandora bracelet and trollbreads to my sister from steffans. I find some really good models and designs at affordable cost. Hope you would find some of your interested one.

Be fair P&P. It's probably taken Cary 5 months to work out the very bad English translation they've done.
