Lush - facial cleansers

lambchop, 5 October, 2008 at 20:23 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 4

Im a big fan of lush but i havnt bought anything new for ages.I need a cleanser which will help to control the mess that is my face.

I have pcos so am prone to very bad skin, i have tried their fresh farmacy which worked great for a few months then stopped and made my skin dry.

So any recomendations?

Oh and recomend me any other lush products you like too... I will probably be tempted to buy a few other things too.

I used to use the Angels on Bare Skin - someone recommended it on here - it exfoliates as well as cleanses.

If yuo have bad skin, have you tried Liz Earle stuff? I like that. THe cleanse and polish also exfoliates as well as cleanses.

I think i may have tried just about everything around in my price range (not much) apart from going back to lush. I have that biore warming blackhead scrub stuff which doesnt even shift my blackheads so that was a waste of money.

I quit smoking in may and since then my skin has gone worse! (not to mention the weight ive piled on) I despair sometimes that im 28 yrs old and when im on the bus in the morning going to work theres teenagers with better skin than me!

    Tx

(hello ?, am not totally new on here but can't seem to use my old login jessgeo so starting again...)

I'd second Angels on Bare Skin, it's v gentle and kind to use. I have oily-ish skin so I use coalface, and enzymion moisturiser. Plus I'd really recommend their moisturisers if you've not used them before. They are usually fairly good at helping you pick stuff out in the store, and if you're anywhere near Kingston, I think they are soon going to be doing in-store consultations / facials, or something like that. And the face masks are lovely and last a few weeks - I've got the brazened honey one in the fridge right now (but will my 4-month-old give me a minute to use it? no I don't think so!!)

Other stuff - there are a couple of new shower gels, one in particular called Rub rub rub is amazing, packed full of salt grains and smells heavenly, it's an all over body scrub type thing. You can also get quite a few old favourites on the RetroLush stuff online, if you have generally troublesome skin then I think they are selling Narcotic shower gel there?

    Seconded.

I also like Mask of Magnaminty, Herbalism, Angels on Bare Skin, Coal Face and Fresh Farmacy.

Other fab Lush products are Rock Star and The Godmother soaps, Sakura and Supernova ballistics, and Creamy Candy Bath bubble bar. Warning: these are very pink, girly products ?
