Maid of honour & bridemaid fallen out

I am so upset I have my maid of honour (cousin) & my bridesmaid ( daughter) I’ve been trying to arrange for my maid of honour to get to the shop to pay the deposits on her kids dresses before lock down Thursday but she hasn’t been responding so my daughter (bridemaid) put up a message in the group chat asking if they can be more responsive to me and if they was too busy maybe they should consider not taking part in a such a big role on the wedding. So then comes the reply’s and all hell broke lose between the pair of them. Now my cousin is saying she doesn’t want to do it anymore but I’ve already paid for her dress and brought her & her children their bouquets and personalised gifts.. plus I was supposed to be leaving from hers on the day. They are both as stubborn as each other and neither will admit they are wrong or apologise and I’m the one stuck in the middle of it all. I’m so stressed out and I don’t know what to do I just feel like cancelling the entire thing.

So sorry to hear this. Sounds stressful for. I think it would be a good idea to leave things for the time being, maybe a few days, let both sides calm down and then ask your cousin and your daughter to have a calm conversation with you about it. Hopefully you can all reach a resolution. Are you able to pick the dresses up before Thursday yourself?

The problem is I’ve paid for the adults dresses but she said until my cousin pays the deposits for the kids she can’t put the order through for mine as they are all made in batches so could turn out a little different if they are not made together, and with the lock down approaching on Thursday they announced today they are closing their doors on Wednesday.. so if I don’t get them paid and ordered in the next day or so they won’t be delivered in time for the fitting ? I am honestly so angry with the pair of them right now. Weddings are stressful enough to organise without all the added stress of their petty arguments and with Covid it just makes it even worse.
