Hi I went to see hair and make up artist and tbh it was dreadful. Very rushed and I hated it. Who is doing their own make up and what are you using? Has anyone used counters in John Lewis make up lessons for brides? Another company quoted £400 that seems so expensive just for make up

    Can't help with the wedding makeup as I didn't use any, but I do know someone who got some general makeup tuition from John Lewis and loved it. It was for an award ceremony, not a wedding, but she looked absolutely amazing when she did her own makeup after the tuition, and she was someone who'd never worn makeup before. So if they can teach a total newbie to do her makeup so well, they'll probably be good at doing wedding makeup too. Especially if you already wear makeup normally. (If you don't, you could consider what I did and just not bother!)
