Making my own cake

I haven’t, however my friend made her cake and froze it so all she had to do was decorate it. She had a simple decoration so it wasn’t that stressful

I think the key is do as much as you can in advance to avoid the stress, like the above comment mentions - freezing it is a great option and keep decor minimal. I’m doing my own bridal/bridesmaid bouquets and have had the same worries!
