MARION....too sexy for a wedding dress????!!!

The fantastic bridal shop called me today to tell me they have got a sample coming in of maggie sottero Marion and did i want to try it?! Said yes and think it is GAW-JUS but wondering if anyone else thinks it's a might on the sexy side for a wedding dress??!!

its just the two of us getting married abroad so no formal church do etc although will be wearing again when I get back but defo wanting something quite sexy and fitted (other dresses i love are maggie sottero evelyn / cooper which are uber mermaid although no leg)

'scuse the photo's best ones were from this dodgy site - not planning to use it though!

i can't find any pictures of 'real' brides in this dress - does anyone know anyone who has worn it or something similar?

think i would have to do a bisquillion hours of yoga a day so my legs look AMAZING! lol xx

can't wait to hear what you all think (eek!)

    I agree - for an overseas sunny wedding that would be fab, although with my tree trunks I wouldn't get away with it! lol

    If you have a fabulous pair of pins, go for it! Not that we're jealous or anything ....? hehehehe

    That dress is totally stunning!!! It's not too sexy at all, its just the right amaount of sexy ?

    I really LOVE Maggie Sottero and if I change my mind about my style of dress I'm looking for will probably go with something by her... I love the dress Dion, and the Michelle dress (Alfred Angelo does a very similar one to this too which I also like ?)

    Plus with a dress like this everyone will see the beautiful wedding shoes too ? x

    Gorgeous dress, I think it's ideal for a wedding abroad. Agree with PA about the tree trunk legs, lol! Mine would look awful in it!

    I looked at that one, since I'm doing the same as you, beach-wise. However, I decided against the split skirt since it seemed to me to be more hollywood than wedding. My dress is VERY similar though:

    If you mean mine, it's called Baltimore, from Blue by Enzoani. Very floaty and summery. I'm having the train shortened so it's more suitable for outdoors. Not a traditional dress I suppose, but it's perfect for me. I tried a few single layer chiffon dresses but they seemed a little more evening wear than bridal, and in this I feel like a bride Smiley smile

    I think it is a gorgeous dress especially for abroad. You will look sexy and get some ventilation on your legs. You have to do a sexy red carpet pose for a photo if you get it ?

    I think I've flashed mine here before. It was Maggie Teracina - very similar but without the fit. I don;t have great photos on my laptop, but here's a link to a couple on flickr that show the dress in a bit of detail...
