Marks and Spencer traditional wedding cake

Hi, would be interesting to know and see any pictures of anybody that has used Marks and Spencers traditional wedding cake. You buy them seperate and stack and decorate yourself. Really thinking about using these as the prices of them are fantastic but unsure on how to arrange them. Would love some ideas if you can help.

    I originally wanted the boards taken out but the venue forgot - very much a bargain and a very tasty cake too!

    OOhh it looks great. I was thinking of the same idea, stacked (without the boards) as you originally planned, with my colour theme ribbon. Thank you for reply and pic ?

    I love this. ? H2B not sure on stand though ☹️ i'm sure i can twist his arm though. The penguins on top are brilliant x

    Can't help you with a photo as we didn't have this for our main cake but we did buy M&S cutting bars (the extra bars of cake you can buy so that you can put out extra slices) and this went down very well. Was just as nice as the main cake.

    I am going to get these too, but my only dilemma is do you think they would need dowels in between the layers?

    That's what I also thought - I suppose adding a few dowels to support the cake above wouldn't hurt... x
