Marks and Spencer wedding cakes

Hi

I'm looking at prices for wedding cakes and some seem completely over the top and as we're having a small wedding I don't want to spend a fortune on a cake hence I've started looking at the M&S cakes. My only concern is decorating them somehow as I am no cake decorator and don't know anyone who is. Has anyone any experience of doing this? What are the cakes like?

    Hi!

    We are having a small wedding and plan on having an M&S cake too. We have picked out one that is already decorated but the plain, individual tiers are a fantastic price. I have seen lot's of beautiful sugar and wafer decorations online but i also like the look of adding fresh flowers inbetween each stack.

    I can't wait to tuck in. ?

    Ive ordered the tiers before and just decorated with some ribbon and flowers on top and it looked pretty good.

    Maybe, you can check on some wevsite like bridal tweet, thats a subject of cake topper and thats so funny.
