Mass dress flash

It's Gerry by Enzoani and I managed to get it off the hanger for less than half price because the store has decided to go with a different designer this year so need to get rid of it!!

I absolutely love it, but now just need to find the perfect veil... 26 days to go - eeeek!!!

Sorry it's huge, no idea how to resize it! No, I'm not wearing black, it's being made in ivory for me but keeping sash and buttons the same colour.

I have just spent about two hours going through this entire thread, so many beautiful dresses and so many different styles, I have loved seeing everyones dresses. I'm astounded that no one has chosen a dress anything like mine? I have had/am having major wobbles having bought it June 2012 - although I'm in possession of the dress my first fitting is next week and I haven't tried it on since last year!

iv had the ruffle on the skirt slightly altered and iv no pics of me in the dress my bm has them on her phone

I havent got one of me in mine yet, its Olivia by Monsoon, mine has added straps with little bows & bacause i am a shortie i've had the hem shortened at the front so it has a teeny tiny train, hope this works

I don't have a pic of me in it yet as couldn't take a pic in the shop but here is a model pic. It is Benjamin Roberts 2153 and I was very lucky to get it in a sample sale!

Thank you - it was the sleeves that made me fall in love with it! I really loved the tea length dresses but for some reason couldn't find one to suit me but love to see other people's

That is indeed a beautiful dress DresmCatchMe. If I wasn't waving the tea length flag loud and proud I think if have gone for something similar myself.

Now heres a wonder. Do Tea Length brides ever worry that in years to come thier photos will look dated? I think its becoming more and more the fashion now so will people look back in 20 years time and think its all a bit retro?

I wanted tea length before I even knew they were "trendy". I never think of Audrey Hepburn's style as retro, just classical.

I don't care if it looks retro in twenty years, I bloody love it! I don't even know what really influenced me to get one, just that I knew I wanted one. I love my grandma's wedding photos and she had one, but then I know they've had a surge of popularity recently so maybe I've been subconsciously influenced by those pictures? I think with anything wedding related there's a chance you'll look back and think 'gods, what the sodding hell was I thinking?' so you might as well just pick what you like now and have an awesome day.

I never went out looking for Tea Length- my dress just sort of found me!
