Where is your wedding? Usually the venue provide an MC who does announcements etc.

I'd ask, ours was part of the hotel package, the lovely Stephen Saunders xxx

We're thinking of having it a village hall so there wouldn't be 'staff' - just checking it didn't have to be necessarily someone in the bridal party!x

You needn't have one at all if you don't want to - unless you want someone to announce you as you come in to the room, speeches all kind of flow on from one another anyway. Your day, your way. ?
