Sigh, I used to love Germaine. These days, though, she does give the distinct impression of being willing to say anything to get a bit of attention. She's barely coherent half the time. I don't think she does herself or anyone else any favours- she's so much associated with the idea of "a feminist" in the public consciousness that she just makes feminism look silly and a bit shit. Some of her arguments there make sense (although I don't personally agree with them) but some of it's raving, and she has a tendency to expect her views to be treated seriously when she doesn't offer any rational argument in support of them.
