mauritius or caribbean?

Trying to plan our honeymoon, but can't totally decide where we want to go. We're looking for 2 weeks AI total relaxation....and lots of sun! We'll be going the first two weeks in December, as getting married Nov. 28th (this year). Mauritius is our first choice, 'cos it truly will be a 'once in a lifetime' but Im a bit worried about if it may be a bit rainy in December? Has anyone been or planning to go at that time of year?? x

we have booked mauritius for Sept this year and *aparantly* they get hardly any rain then

the travel agent did say to be that they dont get massive amounts of rain at all - unlike the rainy seaon for the carribean( July&Aug)

so I think you would be ok at either

I would go to travel agent to check or look on internet as they list monthly averages for most places.
