Does it really matter what title you give them, flower girl? bridesmaid?,

I may be wrong but I think flower girl is an American term. I know when I was younger the term 'flower girl' was never used. They were all called bridesmaids,

I guess you are relating it too how they are dressed. My 4 younger ones that were all dressed the same were 5, 7, 8 and 11 (a month off being 12). With the older ones I think it depends on how mature they are for their age.

I imagine a 'flower girl' to be someone toddling down the aisle sprinkling flowers out of a basket. Generally I'd say maybe up to 3yrs, 4 at a push.

The same goes with a page boy at what age ado they become an usher or a groomsman. I think when he would be embarrassed to be called a page boy - same for a flower girl ??
Ive seen maybe a 7year old as a flowergirl
