In primary school we had a:

Mrs. Boggin. I've never forgotten her, she was a thoroughly horrid woman.

Mr.Kerr, which is fine until we learned his first name was Joe.

Miss. Terry

At high school there was:

Miss. Hoare - P.E teacher, a really lovely woman who got totally unjustified stick.

Mr. Claudius (initial I) - Geography

And poor Mr.Stevens whose name isn't funny on it's own but he had the shakes (he was later diagnosed with Parkinsons and has since died) Hence his nickname Shakin Stevens. He was a really lovely, compassionate bloke, bless him.

One of my teachers was called Mr Tickle which was even funnier as he had ginger hair so was even the same colour as the Mr Men character.

When I working in a primary school I worked with a Mrs Hoare.

First School... we had no interesting teacher names (or ones that I was too innocent to find funny).

Middle school we had Mr Ireland who looked like a garden gnome and most pupils (aged 8-11) were taller than him.

Secondary school - headmaster was Dr Skinner, French teacher Mr Woodhouse, who bore striking resemblance to a woodlouse, Miss Beale, deputy head, not really funny until you know her first name was Cathy. Mr Gittens (Git) and Mr Savage (P.E. teachers).

Mr Knott the woodwork teacher (nominative determinism?), And then we had a new deputy head who joined as I was leaving: Mr Bell (all the boys added "-end" on his name, with immediate effect).

My maths teacher's name was Mr Boreham. Initial was I...

My science teacher was called Mr Brankley, of course that was changed to Wankley.

Geography teacher was Mr Noblett (still makes me snigger!)

We also had a teacher for a short time called Miss Whale, unfortunately she was rather large.

One of my teachers at primary school was called Mrs Tweddle. Sounds like a character from a Roald Dahl book.

I was taught Geography by a Mrs Kazamzadah - I thought that was a great name!

We had a Mr Kettle too, and English teacher.

I don't think there were any corkers from my VIth form.
