Menu change!

Jade, 11 February, 2024 at 22:38 Posted on Etiquette and Advice 0 2
Hi. Jw, has anyone had a venue change their menu after booking with them? Appreciate advice. TIA

We booked in October and today whilst showing photos to a relative from the venue website, I noticed a new brochure had been released with a very different menu. Venue didn't tell us.
Venue is beautiful but previous menu we were spoilt for choice and now we may struggle if that is the menu we have to use.
Dunne if over thinking and new brochures don't affect current bookings as well.

Exploring mcdon-menu.com gives users access to a simple online platform that presents McDonald’s-style menu information in an organized and easy-to-read format. The website focuses on displaying food items, meals, and possible price listings in a digital menu style, making it convenient for visitors who want to quickly check available options without visiting a physical restaurant. It typically includes categories such as burgers, fries, drinks, desserts, and combo meals, similar to official fast-food menu structures.

Booking terms usually make a big difference here, as some venues honour the menu that was available when the contract was signed, while others reserve the right to update their offerings before the event. It may be worth contacting the venue directly and asking whether the new brochure applies to existing bookings. A similar situation came up when comparing options on the sugarbeat eating house menu , where seasonal updates changed several dishes, but previous reservations were still given choices from the earlier selection. A quick conversation with the venue should clear things up and may even reveal flexibility that is not mentioned in the brochure.
