Fair enough, I obviously misinterpreted. I think people are reading too much into the use of 'sad' though. It's not like I'm sitting at home crying over it ?. But yes, when I read it first of all, I did think "Oh that's too bad, what a shame". I really don't think that's SO out of the ordinary that it makes it hard to believe, surely?

I don't really think saying "who gives a monkeys" means I harbour some kind of snobbery against people who read Heat or whatever...I read take a break so I'd have a cheek to slag off anyone for their reading matter, anyway. It just means I don't give a monkeys about 2 talentless non entities whose only claims to "fame" are being failures on tv talent shows, and who probably only got married as some kind of publicity/fundraising stunt anyway.

Then with all due respect (as I realise this is a free forum and you can reply to what you like ?), why did you bother replying?

Surely your absence on this thread would have been indication enough that you weren't interested in them?

FFS - people can reply if they like Minx. Sheesh. If someone is surprised that you think it's even worth posting about, they can comment about how they feel about it.

Well, it's like conversation, innit? If someone was at work say flicking through Heat and said to me "Oh I see they've split up" I'd probably have said similar to what I said on here.

And quite why me and my post are getting singled out (or should that be my post and I) when I wasn't the only, or even the first poster, to express similar sentiments is a bit bemusing.

Roobarb, you're quite right, I'm obviously a sensitive soul today ?. I certainly didn't mean to single you out, you just happened to be the last post I read as I replied, so your comments were fresh in my mind. I guess I just took your comments as a personal insult to me and my reading material, rather than a general "They are a shite couple, ignore them" ?.

I do. Why comment on what people have said? You post, you get replies, spome of which you won't like. Asking someone why they replied is quite rude as far as I'm concerned. <shrug>
