I have 3 kids so having time away from them normally is never an option, I never like them gone for more than a night anyway 🤣
BUT my inlaws have said they'll have them all for 3 nights after my wedding so we can spend some much needed time together as our eldest is 9..
My question is where did people go for a little mini moon after their wedding? UK or abroad and where if abroad? We get married in October so it won't be too warmThanks

Abroad you could do a mini break to Barcelona, Prague or Bruges. Personally we don't want to book anything until we know what the rules will be so we have chosen to go to Center Parcs for a few nights and will book the spa and meals out, but it is a great place to chill out as you have your own cozy little place but options to do things on the site. Or you could look at lodges in the UK like glamping pods. We went to Wales and stayed in a cute little Sheppard's hut with a hot tub and was the loveliest break as so peaceful and we then explored Elan Valley, where he proposed!

I cant say where I went as not been married yet but my nan went America but we dont talk about her wedding

Portugal is nice in October as is Gran Canaria both of which you can have mini breaks to. We are going to Cyprus in March for our proper mini moon - we did stay in a local wedding night also.
