Mobile amusement arcade 1
Hi so I’m currently in the process of creating a large mobile amusement arcade with an array of machines like a seaside amusements

Would there be interest from wedding people for something like this at their wedding? With a full day at the venue for a cost of £1000-£1500
People’s thoughts please

Probably not our wedding as the budget wouldnt run to it, but I'm on several committees (fetes and things) that might be interested in knowing more. Where are you based?

Scunthorpe but if there is enough interest for it to cover the costs we will start the conversion. So yes we would be interested to know . It will be a large scale exhibition truck like in the pic . All sign written a d looking like a amusement arcade. Lots of machines for all

Ok thanks, I'll keep it mind if I have an event looking for something like this.

Sounds great but I feel that a whole day is not needed and a little OTT. Consider a wedding starts at 2 pm with a ceremony until 2.30 pm then typically there is 1.5 hours before the wedding breakfast is served, during this 1.5 hours is when the photos are usually taken and people mingle and congratulate the couple.

Then they are seated at 4pm ( in the above timings) and the food service and speeches will be another 2 - 2.5 hours depending on how many guests there are which brings us up to 6.30.

This is the time I think your arcade machines would come into play BUT not the whole massive truck full. Firstly you need a venue that has room for the truck and then if its raining then people are not going to want to leave the venue to run across the car-park to visit the truck.

    SORRY Smiley heart

BUT I can see a good brilliant niche for delivering select games to a venue and installing in a space inside the venue to be played with after the meal - maybe charge a price per machine ? that way the amount of machines used can be altered to fit the space - or have a few spread in different positions around the venue. I see these being delivered via a transit van ?

This is my take on it from my experience of how weddings (and) people flow at a wedding.Hope it helps.
