My partner is looking for a Mod Style suit for our wedding does anyone know a good website we can check out or details of a retailer?

Thanks Jenny

    Hi,

I am a tailor and Quadrophenia is one of my favourite films. I love the bit where they are having suit fittings and they keep asking the tailor to make the jackets smaller (rent-a-tent).

I am sure there are retailers who sell a "Mod Style" suit, but a mod style suit is: A 3 button single breasted jacket, with side vents, very slim and fitted (almost too tight) A short jacket length, and a flat front (slim) trouser with a 15" or 16" bottom.

Any tailor could make a suit in this style, I have made quite a few.

If you have no luck finding an off the peg one, why not have one made?

    Thanks

    Marc

    Hi Lents

We'll have to keep each other updated on this one as my H2B is after exactly the same for our wedding next summer, not sure where you're based but we found https://jumpthegun.co.uk/ in Brighton who do a small range of mohair, slim fit suits and the ties are fantastic! Also there is a simliar shop just off Brick Lane in London but not sure what it was called and would probably require a visit in person. Anyways hope that helps a little, good luck with the search and keep me posted!!
