Money saving tips

Rahman, 17 September, 2021 at 08:12 Posted on Planning 0 3
Hi everyone.
We aren’t really on a tight budget, but we have a little boy and are hoping to move house soon so we’d definitely like to save money where we can, what are your best tips for this?
An example of come up with is not shelling out on fancy transport as we are having the civil ceremony and venue in the same place there’s no need for it
Thanks!

Transport and flowers are massive costs. We are not decorating the venue with flowers or chair covers as we are lucky the ones provided are good condition and all silver. Photographer is another big cost, colleges often have students wanting to build portfolio and just charge a small fee. Or maybe ask on facebook page locally. Look for suits and bm dresses at end of season or Xmas sales as you can pick up chepere. Make your own table decorations and look closely at all in packages. Or venues all in wss 7k when I asked for component prices and built my own per person package I shaved 2k off it as we have a lot of guests who don't drink or are under 18
