Monsoon wedding dresses

Hi everybody,

I just wondered if anyone has ever bought a Monsoon wedding dress? I'm mostly curious what the sizing is like.

    Hi, welcome to Hitched. I didn't buy one but looked and they do some lovely ones. I find normal Monsoon clothes quite good on sizes.

    I haven't bought a wedding dress from there, but I have had several 'formal' dresses from their and have always found their sizing good!

    I'm a 16 and generally find that I didn't have an issue with the 16 in store!

    Hi EPC535 - welcome to Hitched!

    I went dress shopping in July and tried on a Monsoon wedding dress, although looking at the website now I can't remember which one it was... I know it was quite heavy, covered in beading and around the £300 mark.

    From what I remember, it was baggy around the bust (I'm a size 10-12 with reasonable hips and tried on a 12, I think) and very long. A size 10 probably would have been fine. It was; however, quite thin and in the harsh fitting room lights you could see everything underneath!
