Beware....Welsh does vary from the North to the South. I would use a Welsh translator from the area that you are marrying in.

"achub y dyddiad"
"cadw'r dydd yn rhydd" - bit more of a rhyme to it IYSWIM

Thats great - north wales is what i am looking for.. Im getting married in portmeirion so wanted to carry the theme a bit.
But im a bit confused.... Whats the difference between the 2?

Well 'achub' is more like 'to save/rescue' and 'cadw' is more like 'to save/keep' so I would go for the 2nd one which is more grammatically accurate when spelt

"cadw yr dydd yn rhydd"
