Mother daughter hen weekend

I'm having a hen do with all my girlfriends and BM's but I would like a seperate weekend away with my mum aswell too! Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice hotel with spa and fairly near to a city centre? I'm from newcastle so somewhere which isn't the other end of the country ideally!! Any ideas??

Sounds like a lovely idea for some quality mother-daughter time before the big day! A spa weekend near York or Edinburgh could work well from Newcastle. Just don’t let it turn into a Daughter or Mother comic situation 😄.
