Mother in law behaviour

Junior, 20 April, 2025 at 08:14 Posted on Etiquette and Advice 0
Good morning all,

I'm new to the site and am looking for advice as to how to handle this situation.
Yesterday my fiancée had her hen do in London. There was a group of 27 that attended in total that was mixed with friends and both sides of the family.
They started off at a brunch. Of course it's the best place for a large group. I was sent a video by one of my groomsmans wife titled 'when you hit recored at the worst time'. Of course I viewed the video. In the video was my fiancée dancing on stage with and inflatable me. The inflatable had a strap on dildo. The future mother in law then proceeded to give the bj to the dildo. You can see everyone's reaction including my fiancee that it was completely wrong and they were shocked. She then followed up by saying 'what, you have to try before you buy'.
Granted I know behaviour on hens and stags are loose but I would expect better from the future mother in law. Not only this but my family were there also. My mother is no longer with us but if she was there I dread to think what would have happened.
I also accept that I shouldn't have seen the video at all. What goes on tour stays on tour type thing. With that being said her behaviour should have been tamed.
My fiancée is still in bed. She'll be fragile when she wakes up so have to approach the subject delicately.
I just wanted to gather everyone's thoughts on the matter.
Thanks in advance
