Mother of Bride Shoes - Wide Fit??

20 February, 2012 at 11:50 Posted on Planning 0 2

Anyone know where we might find some MOB shoes in wide fit? Mum is 60 and is not looking for a pair of killer heels that an 18 year old would wear but a lot of the wider fitting shoes look really frumpy and more suitable on a 90 year old.

Any ideas?

Have you tried Evans & Clarks? They stock wide fit.

The shoes I got for our daughter's wedding were made by Peter Kaiser:-

I didn't buy them on line as I only take a size 3 and am difficult to fit but got into a size 2 with these because they were a good wide fitting. They were the only ones that I found that fit, were comfortable, could wear again and looked elegant and believe me, I searched for over 6 months. I bought mine from a small shoe shop in Wetherby, West Yorkshire but Charles Clinkard stock them. They aren't cheap but the comfort is well worth the money. I danced all night in mine and no sore feet at all!
