Is it acceptable for the mother of the bride to wear a full length dress?

I really love this but not sure if it is a bit too much?

I think it’s a beautiful dress and would be fine for mother of the bride. I don’t think it’s too unusual for MOTB to wear a full length dress. If you’re unsure, maybe speak to your daughter x
