My mum and I are like two peas in a pod. We have been really close all my life as she has raised me single-handedly. She is a very strong, caring and supportive mother and I love her dearly.
When I asked her if she would like to make a speech at our wedding, she was over the moon.
She really wants to do a speech but is struggling with what to write. Apart from a really funny story about me as a baby she doesn't know what else to say.
She gets along qell with my H2B, as he actually asked her for permission to marry me! She doesn't mind his parents (except for his brother) and is not having an easy time putting things into words.
Does anyone have any ideas of what else she can say? Looking at father or the bride speeches hasn't really helped her, as she wants it to be short, sweet but funny. She has a really good sense of.humour but doesn't want to be awkward or have a dead quiet audience.
Any ideas would be really appreciated!
Thanks x
