I think beige would tone in ok with sand and sage if you are keen on having everyone coordinating. Otherwise, I would just let her pick what she wants - I don't think it really matters if the parents don't match the colour theme.

Well my MIL turned up in black and white and my mother in denim - and my mother made it quite clear that my input into her outfit was not required The photos all looked great in spite of no one matching, so don't worry about it too much.

My stepmum and my MIL spoke to each a lot before the wedding to compare outfit choices because they didn't want to match and wear anything too similar. If your mum is looking for sage then you might want to steer your MIL away from that colour if you don't want them to look like bridesmaids in the same colour scheme.

MoB gets to pick a colour first! I don't think they necessarily need to fit the colour scheme, unless they are walking down the aisle.

But nobody should wear white to a wedding without the bride's permission.
