Oh bugger , now I've got to look at the M&S website. Just in case there is a bargain I need.

I've been online and ordered much more than I needed to this morning. I couldn't face schleping across London with heavy shopping bags so it's all being delivered next week. Now, does anyone know where I can add "knock at neighbours if no answer" regarding my delivery?

My lucky, lucky parents are going to be the recipients of my mountain of shopping, until we can get home for Christmas.

How come M&S can deliver to France, and can deliver to Germany, but Switzerland, sitting snuggly between the two, is too difficult?

I can’t help I’m afraid – I’ve just saved myself £40 on presents and £10 on fizzy wine and I’m over the moon so would only encourage you to do it!!! If I could have carried more I probably would have got another 6 bottles. ?

Considering it was 8am yes but compare that to a normal lunchtime and it was empty. I finished in the basement and didn't have to queue to pay. It was quite a pleasant shopping experience.

Oh that's good, I dread to think what it will be like during lunchtime.

Go for it. I did the majority of my Xmas shopping during the last day sale and saved a fortune.

My mum has just phone from M&S; "Should I buy a cashmere jumper, there is 20% off after all?" ?

I do wonder if most people are buying stuff they would be buying anway or spending a massive amount more than they would because of a 20% discount. People were queuing for 45 minutes with full size trolley loads when we were in last time.

I can honestly say I've only bought presents I intended to buy but would have bought them in other shops and spent more if it wasn't for M&S.

Expect for the booze, I probably didn't need to buy that. ?

Well, I've also been sucked in and am currently online trying to complete my Christmas present shopping (as well as buying myself stuff!) purely because I'm getting bargains. I have no self control!

Well, I've just ordered two cases of white wine and saved £20 so I'm happy and when it arrives I'll be even happier AND bladdered ?

I wanted to put a really nice purple Per Una dress in my basket as well but as I was using MrD's credit card I thought that was a bit cheeky ?

I would guess at the latter ?

I was mostly buying trousers for my runt of a husband. The last time we were in the UK we went into every shop that sells trousers on Oxford street (or at least that's what it felt like). Only in M&S could we find any with a small enough waist, and they didn't have short enough inside legs. So i have bought him about 8 pairs online, and when we get to my parents house at CHristmas he can try them all on and return 5 or 6 pairs.

I may have bought some jeans for me and some tops too though... ?

I still haven't received most of my order from the last 20% off event and am very grumpy with M+S.

    Snap!

Half of it came within 2 days the rest still hasn't arrived.

Unfortunately it didn't stop me placing an order today but in my defence it was things I needed or stocking fillers that I had planned to get something and then saw something that was apt.

Bet that there are a lot of people that do that though
