Mum and sister don’t want my dad at the wedding

Has anyone had a positive outcome of family not wanting another family member attending?
My sister and likely my mum too don’t want to be in the same room as my dad. My dad left my mum, it will be 15 years by the time we marry. It’s hurting my head and heart as my dad will be there and his wife.
