Are you having photos taken during the signing? If so, you probably need three tracks to be on the safe side, or the same song looped three times.

How about some classical music. Vivaldi's four season's? Or Pachelbel's Canon? Not too intrusive and easy listening.

We had the music from the balcony scene of Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet. We had to have an instrumental piece for the signing, so double check with your registrar before you make a final decision.

Anything easy listening works well for this. Sounds a bit daft but the Dawson's Creek album is also quite nice (some songs from it).

I'll get something posted soon on this here: Wedding Ceremony Music

Here is an example of classical music played during the Signing of the Register at a small civil wedding:-

    http://www.newcastlevideographers.com/examples/4533601543

The couple chose Mozart as their backing track. During the signing and the photographs, the officials apparently played the wrong tracks at the wrong time - the couple were very pleased that we were able to correct this for the video, and present the events as they were supposed to happen with their chosen music.

Of course the signing and photograph sessions will run longer in real time, so do bear in mind that your chosen track may finish before the event is over - make a CD with extra tracks to follow on the day just in case.

I was looking at both of those for walking down the aisle but now have them for signing the register as have chosen John Denver's Annie's Song instead. Could easily be used for signing the register - the words are lovely.
