Music help?

Victoria, 1 May, 2024 at 23:22 Posted on Planning 0 1
We are having a vow renewal with 65 guests. We will have a small dance floor available and want to encourage dancing but don’t want to have any scheduled dances (although I’m considering an anniversary dance) or DJ atmosphere since it’ll be a quiet, mostly family event. Should I go the playlist route? My husband suggested hiring a pianist for the day but then we’d have to provide a piano since there isn’t one at the venue. Venue info: indoor / outdoor restaurant and outdoor park area. Dance floor is outside.

I would go down the playlist route. Hiring a pianist and piano seems a lot of extra work. Plus, if the pianist is any good, I'd personally rather just listen to them than talk or dance!
