Music that makes you go all melty

SillyWrong, 26 of January of 2015 at 17:23 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 25

I was watching Silent Witness last night (the one on the Underground, if anyone watches it) and there was a scene (when the Crazies were on the roof burning their clothes) that I had to rewind and Shazam the song from. I've been listening to it all day at work now ...

Retrograde, James Blake

It sends shivers up and down my spine!

Do you have a song that does it to you?

There's a version of amazing grace in a film called 'Silkwood' which sends me into a blubbering mess every time. It's just so beautiful!

Starlight by Slash & Myles Kennedy - such a beautiful song. Although I've never thought about music being melty. In my house the best music is either beautiful or epic and the bestest music is both. Starlight is epically beautiful.

I also rather like ray lamontage's trouble

I couldn't think of any yesterday but now I have one: Wichita Lineman by Glen Campbell. Also a sucker for Annie's Song by John Denver. I love cheesy country rock.

Oh I love a fair few! I adore In a Little While by U2, but performed live in Boston.

Also most songs by James Morrison, he's got a voice like melted chocolate!

I recently heard Can't Help Falling in Love by Ingrid Michaelson, oh my goodness. Beautiful.

    Hollow crown by Architects

    Digital bath by Deftones.

Especially when listened to with earphones in, in the dark, eyes closed.

WW, it's an odd film, a bit arty, but very good. Also has Julia Roberts and Clive Owen in it.
