I loved it! I really would recommend anyone to do it, it was such good fun!
I stayed at my BM's house last night so H2B wouldn't be suspicious about me leaving the house in full make up at 9.30am! I planned to borrow her sat nav, but then just as I was setting off I realised my car doesn't have a cigarette lighter to plug it in to, grr. So I had to try manage with vague directions from the internet, but in the end I got close by and got hopelessly lost so I called Nicola (the tog) and she had to direct me in.
Nicola is so lovely, she put me at ease straight away. She's really friendly and has some fabulous ideas, and her house is beautiful! I honestly can't recommend her enough, I'm already thinking I'd like to go back and do it again (potential first anniversary present? It's paper isn't it!). Her site is www.ngmphotographic.co.uk . I think she said my pics will be available for me to look at in about 1-2 weeks, I can't wait to see them!
When I (eventually) got there, we went straight upstairs to the 'boudoir', Nicola ran through some ideas and showed me her props, and had a look at what I'd brought along. She then left the room for me to get undressed, then when I was ready we got straight into it. I did loads of different poses, laid on the bed, on the floor, stood up, sat down, some close up ones of my eyes, some with a veil - I can't even remember them all now! It took around an hour or so all together, but it flew by! Nicola was great at directing every little pose so I knew I'd look the best I could. Then, it was all over and time to get my clothes back on!
I can't wait to get the album and give it to H2B. I don't think he even suspects I've been. I told him my friend and I had a lie-in this morning, then made plans for the wedding and hen party and then I ''went to order'' his wedding present - so not technically a lie!
Cheska had her shoot this afternoon with Nicola too so I'm excited for her to get back and tell us all what she thought too!
