Mine doesn't fit either, having a lace back put in and the hips let out, one thing on one can change is your bones. Hope to collect it from the seamstress a week today and maybe be able to do it up! If not plan B - dress hunting !

Neither does mine!!! And i have had it so long it is too late to return it so I am stuck with it and going to have to try and sell it to get some of my money back. Am really annoyed at myself as I bought it too small to diet into and haven;t lost enough weight. Now it is getting too near and I have had to admit it is never going to fit me. I am gutted. Have just taken delivery of a second dress I have chosen and have ordered it in the right size this time. Scared to try it on tho in case it doesn't fit either!!!!!!!

You would be surprised at how much weight you can lose from around your ribs.

Unless your already a size 8, you should be able to lose at leats a couple of Inches.

How far away are you from getting it zipped?

My dress was about 1 inch over the ribs and 2 inches at the top, I was a big 10, now a small 10 3 weeks later and fits perfectly.

You should manage, just have to go on a strict diet.

Wow, well done you, what diet did you go on to achieve that amount in such a short amount of time? ?

Took a deep breath and tried it on..........it fits!!! What a relief. My daughter says she actually prefers it to the first one. Happy now. Hope yours fits too when it arrives.

Oh what a shame .... Is there really no way you could work out/diet to fit into it?? Although there is no point giving yourself more stress with planning the wedding as well. Hope you're new one comes soon x

Have you checked the seam allowance on the dress? on a bridal gown it could be as much as 2 inches on each seam which will give you at least another 1 or 2 dress sizes.

Unfortunately, I have an abnormally large rib cage... I lost 10 pound in weight this month... but it has had no effect around my ribs, and now even though I'm still a size 10/12 top, there is massive difference between my belly and my ribs because they stick out so far.

Boiled chicken or fish with tons on veggies (although no potatoes) for dinner.

I didnt eat much during the day, just tons of fruit, or if i was really hungry some homemade veggie soup (no bread)

Lots of coffee to fill me up lol

Can I ask, did you all order your dresses online? If so, which ones? They seem cheaper online but it's a lot to spend without seeing it.
