My OH's wedding project- finished!!

We were thinking for ages what to have for a wedding post box. Until we discovered someone else had made one out of lego. Challenge accepted!

It has taken a lot of bricks (and I haven't seen the OH all week) but we are nearly there.

It is a big secret and so he can't show off about it so I'm doing it on his behalf. He is very proud, it's mighty cute. He's even made a lock and key.

This is amazing! We love lego but aren't having any at the wedding so I don't know if it'll look silly, but I'm inspired haha! You have got yourself a keeper there :-)

Wow! Thanks for all your comments he will be chuffed.

We are not really having a theme so haven't got lego anywhere else, but OH loved the idea and it has been a great project for him. Im away this weekend and I keep getting sent updates. It is almost finished! We just need a few more bricks (warning, if you want to give it a go, it takes nearly 2000!!!)

That's amazing! Did he find instructions or did he just do it from looking at pictures?

He did it from pictures. He found the measurements of post boxes online and then planned it out. Next he took it all apart to add an opening and locking door. Clever man!!!

Hi Lilbeth, this post box looks absolutely gorgeous...my fiance and i just bought some red lego bricks today to try to make one too!! but honestly, it looks so daunting...do you have any tips on how to even start??? looks so complicated! you guys have done an amazing job

Good luck! You are going to need a lot of bricks. We used a couple of thousand.

My OH says to have a look at Pinterest or our one to see how it was made to,give you s bit of a guide.

Depends when your wedding is, you could always borrow ours...
