My ring finger is bruised!

jen52637, 15 February, 2009 at 17:44 Posted on Planning 0 7

After two days of trying on about 50 wedding rings, my ringer is really sore and bruised. My engagement ring isn't tight but it catches on the knuckle and I have to twist it to get it off, so after doing this 50 times, then sliding it back on about 50 times, my fingers hurts. ☹️

On the plus side, I've seen three rings that I really like, so now just need to choose!

Even better than this is that H2B has decided after trying rings on that he does want one (he was unsure before, which I was really gutted about but didn't tell him)! ?

Shoegal: I know it seems like I'm organised, lol, but I've been told that the price of platinum is due to soar in the next 2 weeks! So if you want platinum, the time to buy is now!

The three rings I like are actually all quite different, which will probably make it more difficult to choose! The first one I like is platinum, with a crossover in the middle and 5 little diamonds in the middle of the crossover, the second is a plain platinum band, with 5 small diamonds in the middle in a kind of tear shape, the third is a half eternity ring, but with the metal between the stones just a little. Haha, they probably all sound so weird, I'm rubbish at explaining things! ?

Tinkerbelle: I definitely think it's weird for guys who've never worn rings before! It also doesn't help that my H2B has really small hands so it looks even stranger!

Ah, that makes sense! I think quite a lot of people are going for eternity rings as wedding bands now.

Aw, Kenny is an M and a half! So they're pretty much the same! One of the ladies in the shop said the smallest guy she'd ever seen was a K (I'm a K and a half), she said it was actually creeping her out a little! Plus, she said he went for a 2.5mm plain band! She and the guy's W2B tried to dissuade him but he was adamant! To each their own! ?

    Hi Jen,

I can imagine how sore your finger must be!

That's good you've sort of decided on one, is there one you prefer over the others? We ordered our rings at the weekend, H2B was the same, he wasn't sure if he wanted a ring, but he's decided on one which Im pleased about! x

I'm honestly not sure which one I prefer! They're all in different shops too so it's more difficult to compare them!

This is what the first one if like:

The second one is a bit like this:

And the third one is much more difficult to find a similar ring! The stones look a bit like this one in that they are set in the same pointed tear shape but the actual stones are very small, you just see a little bit of sparkle, and the band is plain not crossover like in this pic:

No wonder you cant choose, they are all lovely.

Did one sit nicer with your e-ring than any of the others? Wait a while and see if there is one that you keep thinking about over the others and when your wee finger is better go see it again! x
